Antlia Pro® PFT Device
Antlia Pro® is an AI-powered, non-invasive lung function device using the Forced Oscillation Technology (FOT) during normal breathing. With its PC interface, it provides an accurate and efficient assessment of central and peripheral airways—without requiring the patient to exhale. Designed for pulmonologists, Antlia Pro® supports diagnosis and monitoring in all patients, particularly children, the elderly, or those who are too weak for traditional tests. Its passive-cooperation design makes it simple, stress-free, and reliable.
A Smart Software Solution
Antlia Pro® provides precise lung assessments through key FOT parameters, including impedance (Z), resistance (R), reactance (X), resonant frequency (Fres), and area of reactance (Ax). It also tracks tidal volume, breathing time, respiratory rate, and intra-breath variability.
Clear graphs display resistance and reactance across frequencies, as well as R5 and X5 loops, versus flow and volume — both before and after intervention. This delivers actionable insights for treatment decisions. Its AI-powered analysis ensures reliable, consistent reporting for patients of any age.
Why Antlia Pro®?
Spirometry is the gold standard, but it depends on hard, forced breathing and strong patient coordination. Many patients cannot perform these manoeuvres well, which can affect test accuracy.
Antlia Pro® uses AI-based oscillometry, which measures airway resistance and reactance during relaxed, normal breathing. This approach requires minimal effort from the patient and can detect small-airway changes that spirometry often overlooks.
Research also shows that oscillometry takes less time and is more comfortable for people who cough or feel breathless during spirometry.
